All you have to do is enter the start and end time recorded in your time log and our timesheet calculator will do the rest. This calculator is especially useful for payroll and billing.
This timesheet calculator works with both 12-hour and 24-hour time format.
First of all, note down the start and the end time of each task as recorded in the time card. Next, we calculate hours worked with the following steps:-
Step I. Calculate time duration of all entries or tasks in minutes.
Step II. Next, add up all the minutes from Step I and divide the total by 60 to find the hours worked in decimal. To find the hours worked in hours and minutes, we use whole number division. Dividing the total minutes by 60, the quotient will yield the hours and the remainder will give the leftover minutes.
