Our online tools will provide quick answers to your calculation and conversion needs. On this page, you can calculate the selling price of a commodity given the cost price and desired markup in percentage.

Markup is the difference between the wholesale cost of materials and their retail selling price and is expressed as a percentage of the retail selling price.

Markup % = (Retail price - Wholesale price) / Retail price

Rearranging the equation, we can find the retail selling price with the desired markup with following formula:-

Retail price = Wholesale price / (100% - markup %)
